Overview
Algebra 2B continues the study of advanced algebra with a focus on rational functions, sequences and series, trigonometry, probability, and statistics. Students solve rational equations, explore arithmetic and geometric sequences and series, and develop an understanding of trigonometric ratios, functions, identities, and the unit circle. The course also covers counting methods and probability, including permutations, combinations, and binomial distributions, and concludes with statistical analysis, experimental design, sampling, and interpreting data.
